Blackstone Laboratories wanted a new way to get information out to their customers. Their goal was to give people a peek under the hood of their oil analysis process. Their solution was a podcast, Slick Talk Powered by Blackstone Laboratories.
Slick Talk Joe, the podcaster, reached for a logo that would grab an audience's attention with a broad age range and easily convert into a sticker. So was birthed the Slick Talk logo featured with none other than Slick Talk Joe. The idea was to make him the face and voice of the company. I incorporated Key features of the engine and Blackstone's oil drip to tie the logo together to end on a product that represents their subject matter and craft.
